Wandering Days

It's hard to believe there's less than a week to go. Over the past year or so we've worked on so many different things for this wedding. We, along with a few top wedding professionals are very excited to finally share it all with you good folks out there. Over this last weekend we've moved most of our supplies up to the venue and officially started setting up. There's still more to move but fortunately the venue is only about 45 minutes from our house so our migration much easier than when the Harfoots, Fallohides, and Stoors moved over the Misty Mountains out of the Vales of Anduin and into the region of Eriador that would later be known as The Shire.

So that's good.

With carloads of flowers (pictured) and bunting and all manner of miscellany arriving daily we're eager to set up, but really things won't really start coming together on Thursday when the tent crew comes out to set up the Great Big Tent. Until then we'll try to contain our excitement and focus on what tasks we can get done. Painting signs, for example. Weddings require a lot of signage, I have learned, and all of our signs are hand painted, thank you very much.
