The Plante extended family will likely rent some houses together on Jackson Lake (20min east of the venue); other guests welcome to do the same.

Otherwise, where you want to stay will probably depend on your overall travel logistics. The venue is in between Atlanta (where the airport is) and Macon (where we live), about 45 minutes or so from either. There are numerous hotels near the airport, as well as hotels closer to the venue along I-75 and one or two in Jackon itself. Towaliga River Retreat has some cute cabins to the south as well.

• Downtown Macon is a cute place to walk around and grab a bite! Our favorite places include: Fall Line Brewing, Ocmulgee Brewpub (food & beer), Reboot Retrocade & Bar (for arcade games), Comics Plus of Macon, and “Wear” thrift store.
